    Just wondering, guys. What do people think about the Dell Latitude E6400? I'm considering buying it, so I just want some feedback. thanks.

    I'm also considering buying it, but any configuration that supports DDR3? and a version with the intel wifi link 5350?

    Sorry, you aren't asking for specifics...

    And sergiotv, DDR3 isn't much better over DDR2, almost no difference at a higher cost. No it doesn't support it.

    And the 5350 only has WiMax extra over 5300. You can also buy and install your own 5350.

    I've had my E6400 since August last year and have been very happy with it. It's a little heavier than Dell's specs would suggest, but the build is very solid. Mine's done a lot of travelling and given no cause for concern.

    Don't get the nVidia GPU unless you need it. A few people with that GPU have had problems with excess heat and noise.

    DDR3 brings no real benefit at the moment. We made comparisons last year and concluded that the bandwidth of the current chipset is less DDR2-800. Maybe there will be a benefit with the next generation of hardware, by which time DDR3 RAM will be down at DDR2 price levels.
