To anyone having a Dell E6400,

Do you have a SD card reader on your Dell Latitude E6400 ?
From the picture from Dell Web site, you can see that there is a slot for a SD card reader, but there is no mention of this on the specification ?
It this SD card reader just a piece of plastic that is not working ? or can you read SD card on it ?
If it is a fake SD card reader, do you know if it is possible to get SD card reader option ?

It is most definitely there, just to the right of the display latch.

It works fine for SD / SDHC. Some specs I have seen suggest it works with Sony MS, but that won't work for me. It depends on the interpretation of the 5-in-1.

Good, I was asking because I read some people having a fake SD reader (i.e. just a piece of plastic)

Hmm, I wonder where you read that. There is a plastic insert in the slot that is basically to keep dust out.
