I read a review on the Dell Latitude E5540 where it stated the screen had a bluish tint to it that could NOT be calibrated out.

This was posted back in May 2014. Can anyone confirm that Dell has fixed this issue and that units sold since then do NOT have the bluish tint?

    Thanks,
    Sonnie

Most manufacturers use a variety of display panels (from several suppliers), so it's generally a gamble/lottery.
