    Hello,

I am trying to play a video game (Dungeon Master 2) on my Dell laptop and I have a problem.

In this game you move your characters using the numeric keys, and interact with the screen using the mouse. Now the problem I have is that to activate any of the numeric (blue) keys on the keyboard, I need to press and hold the Fn key, which leaves me one hand short.

Is there a way to make the Fn activated permanently?
Is there another solution? (pressing Fn + F2, the NumLock, doesn't work, and the Numlock is Enabled in BIOS)

Check the BIOS configuration: The manual for my E7440 says there is a BIOS option under POST behavior:
Most likely your E5440 is the same. Try selecting By Numlock so that Fn +F2(? - check your keyboard) = Numlock.

    Thanks for the feedback.

It's useful to know the solution ready for the next person with the same problem.
