    The 4300 is my top choice, but I would really prefer to have it before I start classes. If it comes out the first week of Sept, it'll be close. I guess I could get by with my 10 year old laptop for a week or 2. I just need to have patience. I'm going to have it for a couple of years so it makes all the sense in the world to wait a measly 2 weeks!

    I received an e-mail from a Dell rep yesterday and she was confident that "the E4300/E4200 should be launched the end of the first week in Sep". I am based in Ireland and the E5000/E6000 product lines all were released here on the same day as in the US so I think you can expect the E4300 to be released in the US at the end of the first week in September too.

    Who do you think will be able to buy the E4300 when it first comes out? Just major corporate buyers? I hope I can get it through my school's educational account.

    End of the first week of September is the 5th.

    Let's hope it's not crazy heavy like the e6400 is turning out to be. Less than 4 pounds or bust.
