I just recently purchased a Dell Latitude E4300 and i'm pretty happy with it overall. However, i'd like to connect an external monitor to it. I noticed that it only has a VGA port (unless i'm blind), but Dell's website makes many references to it having a DISPLAY-PORT. It even sells an adapter for this model:

Does this thing have a Display port?

Also, does anyone know the Maximum resolution on VGA?

    Thanks.

I don't believe the E4300 has a display port (could be a typo on Dell's website).

There isn't really a max resolution on a VGA connection either. Resolution is limited more so on the GPU. I've used a 2048x1536 resolution via VGA without any issues.

You can get a docking station with additional VGA / DVI / DisplayPort outputs.

No Display port on the E4300. That is only available via the docking station. It runs 1920x1200 fine via VGA and it can run dual 1920x1200 via the docking station (E-Port has VGA,DVI, and Displayport while E-Port Plus has dual DVI and dual Displayport). Not sure what the max resolution is but those scenarios I mentioned work.
