Dell Latitude E series!

I haven't seen it myself and my friend can't tell me much as a member stated before (he is under NDA) but he said "it's really sweet" lol! He loves the design and hasn't had any problems with noise. He commented when I put my MSN picture up:

And told me that the laptop in the picture was VERY similar to the one he was playing around with at work... Although slightly different than the pics on Engadget's Latitude E series above, there remains a lot of similarities.

 

Is there any word on what gpu options will be available? specifically the E6400?

 

this is a compelling machine... may have to wait for it's release before i upgrade.

Backlit keyboards.....can we say FINALLY!!!!!!!! Ive been waiting for backlit keyboards for YEARS.

 

I want spillproof too. Gonna have to wait a little longer for those though

 

I wouldn't be worried about not seeing anything new about the E's. It's one thing for enthusiasts to see leaked info regarding new products a month or 2 away, it's another for businesses to delay or cancel orders because their order will soon be replaced in a matter of 2 weeks.

My guess is that the next thing we will hear about the Latitude E's are reviews a day or two before they are released coming from people with NDA's, if not the products suddenly appearing on the website.
