Dell Latitude C510/C610 Operating system issue

    On my Latitude C600, I had the exact same problem, what I did to get past it, is whenever it posted, I opened the CD drive, and as soon as it got past the BIOS, I put the CD back in. It worked for me, and XP has been working on that C600 now for 7 years :)

    Intresting idea, i'm gonna try that cd thing first then the usb if it fails, i'm not sure what the cd one means but i'll try anyway lol

    Try hitting F12 at startup to boot off the CD, then during the install you can format your hard drive.

    ...I kinda feel stupid now lol The Star has shown me the one thing I forgot about.

    Well I got it all running and stuff, thanks to those who helped, I feel dumb lol
