    Hello,

I have a Latitude E6410 which failed yesterday in a similar way to the previous panel. This was my second LCD panel obtained in October 2013 after the first failed in the same way. As I am using the laptop, the screen suddenly displays numerous horizontal and vertical lines with discolorization for most of the screen. Please see photo here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6-tNGVugY1zZm5KaGI1ajY2Ykk/edit?usp=sharing

Does anyone know how I can correct this issue, repair the panel, or if I need another LCD panel replacement? I want to avoid the third option as I already did this in October 2013 just for the replacement to also fail on me.

The laptop was never dropped or mishandled. It is not a problem with the graphics card as I can use the VGA and HDMI ports to display normally on an external monitor, nor an overheating issue as the lines stay even from a cold start, besides that I frequently clean the computer out and use fresh thermal paste.

When I replaced the first LCD panel, I also replaced the ribbon that connects it to the motherboard. Both the original and replacement ribbons work fine. (I say this because when I installed the replacement panel in October 2013, it displayed normally with either ribbon.)

    It is a 14.1" LED LP141WP2(TP)(A1) HD+ 0875VK panel, with 30 M pin Matte 1440x900 resolution.

    Thank you!

Did you not get a warranty with the new screen? If you did, you could contact the seller and ask for a replacement screen showing the same photo.

No warranty. The LCD panels are not made anymore. All parts come from previously owned E6410.
