Dell E6400; sound is too soft

    I have set the speakers to their loudest and am not getting sounds that is loud enough to hear without straining.

    I am not hearing impaired.

    Interested in troubleshooting if someone has any ideas

    Either that, or just uninstall the IDT drivers and use Vista's own driver. IMO that's the best solution you can get, pretty decent volume (I never go over 50% volume) and decent sound quality considering the teeny speakers that the E6400 has.
