    Hello.

I got my E6400 about a week ago and I noticed some wierd thing with the Taskbar power meter. It goes crazy about the time left for the battery, when I put the mouse over it, it writes 3:40 then after some secs it writes 5:40 and then it can write 2:50 (it was for example).

Is there any fix to this issue? or someone maybe know how to solve it?

    Thanks.

That is how the power meter has been on all of my notebooks.

It is just an estimate of the remaining battery life if you continue using the notebook with that particular power drain. If you open a CPU meter (like the task manger for example) you will see that the CPU usage is never constant. Windows calculates the remaining power based on a number of things, one of which is CPU usage. If the CPU usage is fluctuating, so will the remaining battery life.
