    Hello Dell Experts,

The e5250 has both touch and non-touch options if ordered.

Is it an easy plug play upgrade if currently there is HD LCD and upgrading to FHD is desired?

Or is it complicated and wires need to be changed etc.

Thank you guys for any information.

Going by the E5250 owner's manual, it looks straightforward.

hi powerslave, i saw in the manual it has eDP connector so, you are correct, it should be just a swap. Would you know a good place to buy the FHD LCD?

First place to look would be ebay. If not, you could try parts-people.com, laptopscreen.com or panelook.com. Let me know how it goes.

thanks powerslave. so far, i have found the full FHD touchscreen replacement rather than just the 1080p display panel, non-touch.

hello. they didnt mention touch or non-touch. i read the dell website and dell outlet and they have both touch 1080p and non-touch 1080p options.

This is a list of many 12.5" FHD display panels. Not sure which one would fit:

Going by the owner's manual[1], the options seem to be between 1366x768 non touch, or 1080p touch at least for the US markets. That said, there might be some options that might work. Sorry, I wouldn't be able to comment on which ones would work.
