    I have a dell d410.
I'm going to get docking slice that I can house my optical drive in instead of the external drive.
Will I need to have 2 power adapters connected now? 1 for the laptop and 1 for the docking station? Or can I just unplug the laptop and plug in the dock which will power itself + the laptop?
Also can I put a dell d410 battery in the slice?

Please can someone explain this to me?

    Thanks
