When I'm using my stereo bluetooth headphones (Plantronics 590) alongside my bluetooth mouse, the audio keeps cutting out on my Precision M2400. Even on my old HP nx8220 that supported Bluetooth v1.2 had absolutely no problems with my headphones and mouse simultaneously connected. The Dell 370 module on the M2400 is supposed to support v2.0 w/EDR so bandwidth shouldn't even be an issue. I'm using the latest drivers on the Dell downloads page. This laptop is stripping me of the only joy I have when using it, which is browsing the internet and listening to music at the same time.
    Anyone having similar issues?
BTW, what is up with no bluetooth device appearing on the device manager before I install any drivers? I can only install the customized Dell driver and can't try out other versions of WIDCOMM.

I would try another bluetooth stack, I've heard of other people having issues with the Dell one.

I've heard good things about this BT stack:
    http://www.bluesoleil.com/

I'm gonna try it out with my Sony DR-BT50 A2DP headphones later this week.
Hopefully my Bluetooth card (Dell 365) is supported...

    Hi Saosin,

Q1: What would be the "Benefit" of using "Bluesoleil" over the Broadcom/Dell Drivers!?!?

    Q2: Is this Freeware!?!?

    Thanks,

    G!:)

A1: Apparently much more stable stack - especially good for A2DP

    A2: Nope, not freeware

I have a similar problem. When the E6400 wakes up from sleep, it sometimes cannot pair with the Dell Bluetooth mouse. The icon would be missing from the right bottom tray also. I would then need to remove the mouse in the BT page, and then add the wireless device again to make it work. But this is not consistent; sometimes it wakes up and pairs up with the Dell Travel Mouse fine. I have Vista 64 bit.

I am using the latest Dell 370 driver. It says it is 6.2.0.6600 at the download site, but after installation, it appears as 6.2.0.4600. Maybe they have two version names for the same driver? Is anyone able to have the driver show up as 6.2.0.6600 on Vista 64?

Any suggestions as to how to make the Bluetooth pairing more robust?

I keep having problem. I updated all the driver and the BT software. now either the mouse or the keyboard doesn't work. it's very inconsistent, but most of the times it's after sleep or hibernation come back. I had to remove and pair devices all the time. when I add one, the other one goes to poop.

    please help!
