    Hi guys,

i don't know the name of that thing but I guess everybody knows what I'm thinking of.
Is there a way to deactivate that? It's kind of annoying while typing.

    Which model computer?

The touchpad control panel for my E6400 has a device select option including Trackpoint disable. See the attached.
