Hi, I have a D830 with the integrated intel video chipset - it has 1 vga output. I want to run two external VGA monitors at 1600x1200. I'm having a hard time figuring out if this is possible.

Would it work if I got a d/dock expansion system?

It has a VGA and DVI output - could I use both (with the DVI using a DVI->VGA converter?)

If that's not possible, could I buy a cheap PCI video card to put in the dock? If that's required, any suggestions for a card that definitely works?

    Thanks for the help,

    Paul

Either the dock or port replicator should let you use 2 external monitors. I have used a 24" and 20" extenal setup with the port replicator.
