D520 Fn + F1 (Hibernate) .. Not Working :(

    Hi

    Can anyone please help/suggest the fix ??!!

    Fn + F1 (Hibernate) is not working in D520, every other Fn key is working fine.

    Please help.

    Is Dell QuickSet installed? I believe you need it in order for the "FN" shortcuts to work.

    If it is, I'd uninstall it, restart, then install it again.

    If you're using XP, it might be because hibernate is not enabled by default?

    If hibernate is not enabled, then upon pressing Fn+F1 it should ask to enable hibernation. At least it did in my case, when I was using XP Pro on my D630.
