    My trackpoint cap is getting really worn out but I have no idea where to find replacement ones for dell's. I see that there are a lot of cheap ebay ones for IBM. Are those compatible with the Dell's trackpoint? If not, could you direct somewhere to buy the trackpoint replacement caps?

    2 for $12? That's ridiculous! I have some old ones from an ancient Inspiron that I use on my D630. Try ebay, I've seen some generic ones there for D630.

    There is a guy on eBay, newgeardeals I think it is, that has a lot of cheap Dell parts.
