Cracked my E4200 LCD...where to get an LCD? Will Dell give me a reduced price if I order a replacement LCD?

I purchased my refurbished Latitude E4200 from the Dell Outlet about 2 months ago. I just dropped the E4200 today. Damage is a small (dime sized) black mark in the LCD. The Black mark is in the uper left corner of LCD and some small 'spider like' cracks around the black mark. I am bummed...but still using the LCD.. It is not too bad. I could likely live with this...seeing as mark is in upper left corner and so far LCD appears fine otherwise...
    .
My display is 12.1" WGXA. I get the feeling that a new 12.1" LCD will be $300 or more...I only paid about $700 from the Outlet (used a 20% off latitude coupon)...so, dont really feel like paying $300 plus for a new LCD.

I did not purchase any extended warranty or Complete Care (bad mistake, I realize now). My warranty is the standard 3 years (with no accidental coverage). Is there any chance Dell might give me a decent price on a replacement LCD? Anything else Dell might do for me? Any other advice?

An E4200 costs $300 on eBay, and there really aren't many available. I think Dell might actually charge you less; you should call 'em up and see. You might also want to try a local repair shop; they might be able to get the part for less.

Call Dell. They may let you purchase the accident coverage which covers the LCD replacement.
