Could someone check if the mini DisplayPort on a Dell Precision m3800 connected to the NVIDIA GPU?

Related to my earlier question about if Dell Precision m3800 supports NVIDIA 3D Vision. It would help my investigation if some Dell m3800's owner checks if the mini DisplayPort is connected to GPU (NVIDIA) or IGP (INTEL)?

    1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel
    2. Choose "Set PhysX Configuration"
    3. Observe the diagram, it should tell which graphics processor the mini DisplayPort is connected to (please also observe the HDMI connection for me)

    Thanks,
    Mark

I could do it for you, but I can't seem to find where I can observe the HDMI connection.

    Thanks a lot!

If you follow the steps in my previous post, it should show a diagram consisting of graphics processors and video outputs. Please tell which graphics processor the mini DisplayPort and HDMI belong to, respectively.

Let me know if you have trouble following my steps.

I plugged in my monitor to both the HDMI and miniDP (using a miniDP adapter) - results are attached.

    Thanks Ashers!

It looks like that all video output ports are connected to IGP (Intel) and that Dell m3800 is not going to work with NVIDIA 3D Vision monitors.

    Oh wait! Ashers,

Why NVIDIA GPU is Geforce GT 750M rather than Quadro K1100M?

Is your laptop Dell Precision M3800 or XPS?

the M3800 and XPS share the same design and are overall very similar. It would be a good bet to assume that the GPUs are wired the same way on both models.

I Have this laptop M3800. And the 3D Vision system.
The VPORT and The HDMI are connected on the IGP INTEL; not on the GPU NVIDIA.
It's impossible to Put the 3D SCREEN at 120 Hz (60 Hz is the only choice).
The Nvidia Panel is limited to 3D Options. No Option to choose the stéréoscopic system; even if the 3D Vision is connected.
I try the HDMI and the Mini VPORT with a Dual Link DVI cable.
Can you tell me if the DELL 4800M With the NVIDIA K1100M is OK for 3D VISION.
