I ran across an this accessory on the Dell website for $39.99 called the Dell CoolSlice. It attaches to the bottom of the Latitude E6400 or Precision M2400 to provide additional airflow when used on your actual lap, on soft surfaces or other situations where heat buildup could be an issue.

    LINK to CoolSlice product- http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Power/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=311-9051&mfgpid=198269&chassisid=8471#Overview

Has anyone seen or used one of these? I'd be interested to hear any input on it! :D

There is one customer review on the site you posted. Looks like he is not happy :)

I've used it before, basically the Cool Slice just makes it more comfortable while using your laptop on your lap. Yes it's handy if you like to use your laptop on your bed (soft surfaces or wherever you might end up blocking the fan), but that's about it.

On normal surfaces like a desk, I see no major improvement in temperatures with the Cool Slice on (if there's any to begin with).

search in the m4400 owners lounge, there are some posts on it

its only useful if you're using it on a soft surface, it dosent have a fan or anything. nice for using it on the bed/sofa since it snaps on to the docking attach points, and becomes like part of the laptop. other notebook coolers you just balance the notebook on top, not so stable for working in bed

My E6400 seems to run cool enough (even with the bottom vents blocked) that I wouldn't even consider it.
