"Closing Lid" - Going to Sleep Mode Does Not Work

    The settings are all fine and it used to work perfectly fine. I had the mode initially set to "do nothing" since I docked it and used external monitor.

    But now with any power mode, it won't go to sleep nor hibernate.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    In a command prompt type: powercfg -a

    report back with the results.

    It says Standby (S1), (S2) are not available. Hmm..

    So does it not standby even if you select standby from the Start Menu, etc?

    I can manually put it to sleep like by pressing the power button or via the start menu. It just wont sleep automatically when I close the lid, even the settings are correct..

    I am starting to worry if this is some kind of "hardware" issue cause even when I close the lid, the screen is still on.
