I've checked Dell Outlet, and the cheapest one there was $900, and that's pretty good but I'm wondering if you guys know any other places I should check. Thanks!

Dell Outlet is pretty much the cheapest thing you're going to get. eBay can sometimes compete, but for just a little bit more, why wouldn't you choose the Outlet? If you can wait, I'd wait until coupons come out, though.

Hi again Wolf, I never even knew that the Outlet had coupons for M4400s! Where can I find some of those?

Also, would you happen to know whether I might be able to upgrade the P8600 on one of these to a T9400 when I get my hands on one?

Yes, p8600 compatible up to QX9300 Quad 3.06 GHz, but I can't give specific instructions.

They come out once in a blue moon (actually, it might be less often; I'm not sure how often a blue moon appears). In the mean time, you can follow this thread; sometimes people post one-time-use coupons: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=231526

Thanks, that's great... I found one with an x9100 for $900, but it seems too good to be true. we'll see.

that is awesome. The CPU alone in retail is almost that much!
