Replaced a mobo and need to change the service tag. I've tried this link:

    Service Tag change

But can't create a diskette (tried using my USB drive, but it won't work and don't have a floppy)

I've also tried just running teh asset.efi in the command prompt but it says it's invalid with my version of windows.

The laptop is a Dell D620

By installing XP pro and dells' configuration I was able to set the asset tag, but service tag is still the old one....
