Can Vostro 1710 drive an external monitor in 'extended desktop' mode?

    Hi,

    We're looking to buy a new laptop with an internal screen of 1920*1200, which can also drive an external, independent display at the same resolution.

    Can the Vostro 1710 do this? Can it do this with the Intel integrated graphics card (GMA X3100)?

    Yes you will be able to do that with the Vostro 1710.
