Can someone upload the Vostro 1510 CDs?

    Can someone upload the Vostro 1510 CDs that come with the laptop with drivers and such? Thanks.

    you can download all the drivers from the dell website

    why do you specifically need the dvds?

    I don't think it's legal for someone to upload those disks. If you want them, you'll have to request that Dell send 'em to you. If you just need the drivers, as duke_stix mentioned, they can be had from the Dell website.

    Why not? They just contain applications.

    Im asking for the apps/drivers/etc. Not the Windows restore CDs.

    Well, I think it's questionable in the same sense that it's questionable to sell and/or distribute the material on its own. Yes, it's just drivers and apps, but like with all OEM software, it's supposedly illegal to sell it without the original machine.

    But if you just need the drivers and apps, they can be had from the Dell site.

    We aren't selling anything here. Im just requesting a .ISO of the CDs.

    I've uploaded some of the standalone drivers from dell for the touch pad, wlan card, quickset and chipset for vista x64 as these are a little hard to come by

    otherwise, you know you can ring up dell and request them to send you a copy of the discs? if you are in warranty they are free if i remember correctly (done this twice before)

    all the 32 bit drivers are available on dells website

    go to dell.com

    support

    click drivers and support

    enter your service tag

    and it will give you the correct drivers
