Can I change the stock fan on my Vostro 1510?

    Just for personal reasons, can I change my Vostro 1510's fan to something a bit quieter, more controlable, and with a LED or something?

    No you cannot unless you want to try and put hundreds of hours into modifiying a fan, buying overpriced parts, melting and forming plastic, and wiring the fan area over and wasting alot of money. :wink:

    You can control the fan speed with software. As for replacing it...i woudl say the answer is no.
