and yes the webcam works but its functionality is very basic e.g. no preview window no ability to record video or snapshots and apparently the new software solves this problem

c14rider has kindly made an image of the disc snd is going to email me it so hopefully problem solved ! and some rep power for him too!

 

jusat checked my email mate im downloading it right now hopefully this is the final piece of the puzzle , top bloke thanks for goin to the effort of imagng the disc and uploading it

 

It was the final piece for me. I got mine working yesterday

 

woop woop well done mate u helped me out a cracker there im just in from fixin someones heating system and read this post and forgot i installed it before i got called away an jus fired it up , thats much more what we should have had preinstalled
