Call Dell outlet, Additional Inventory?

Hi,

Can't seem to find a latitude with the specs I want. Unfortunately, when I find it, the system is gone thats what I get for being slow. My question is if I call Dell, how is the pricing over the phone compare to online and would I be able to use a coupon over the phone? Appreciate all the help.

When I called they said there was no additional inventory then what was posted on the Outlet web site. She then told me to call her personal phone number if I found a system I wanted. She seemed a little perturbed that I asked, and the phone number she gave me was bogus. It was a S#X phone number......must of been her other job.

 

Worry that if I found a system over the phone, they wouldn't honor the coupon. I don't remember if the 20% latitude coupon is for online only.

LoL, then what is the point of advertising that additional inventory is available if you call the 1-888 number. Thanks for the heads up. Hope I don't get a rep like that.

Where do you see a 20% off coupon for outlet purchases? Are you sure it has not expired?

 

Sorry about that didn't mean to confuse you. I haven't seen a 20% latitude coupon yet. I'm hoping one will come out in tomorrow email .

 

Actually, now that you mention it, that might be the case. I'd call them up to make sure if you really want to go down that route.

 

So I'm assuming there's no chance of getting a "online coupon only" apply to a phone order unless I get a cool rep to help me out:wink:

 

Last time when there was the reuseable 20% coupon available, I placed an order on the phone, and had no trouble at all. The sales person happily accepted it, and he also helped me locate the system I wanted before I placed the order.

But you should really order online. The sales rep does not have any more access to inventory than you have. I was having trouble getting an online order confirmed, and that was why I ordered via the phone. As it turned out, I got the confirmation quite late, but it did come, and I had to cancel one of the orders.

 

Thanks for the info. Nice to know the rep were helpful. I guess I'll have to decide if it is worth the wait for a coupon ,since the system I want may disappear. Kinda hoped they had more inventory then displayed.
