But sadly the euro and pound are worth a lot more then the dollar at the moment. Last time I checked I got a rough conversion of $1000 = 600ish pounds, but then again I could be terribly wrong and 100% inaccurate as Im no financial expert.

Try to call their business dep, not the home section. Not too sure about this, but if you're unsure of what you want, the Dell reps can sniff you out like kitty cat on catnip, so make sure to do a bit of homework! The more questions you throw that don't sound like questions, ie. ask them to confirm stats etc., the better. If you really are unsure and want to hide it, try to make them play their own game and get them to mail you the quote for a couple of systems (to throw them off what you want!), or ask the questions you have here and pray someone answers you before they do :D. Tell them to check up on you later about the quote. Watch out for their upselling games - they gave me a "base system" quote for 4GB RAM, look for fishy stuff in the quote and check computer specs/US customise specs for all options. Some countries like mine (Australia) don't have an option to buy online so it is impossible to check pricing and base stats, Dell US is your friend for that. The business rep I got ended up calling me after 6pm (their knockoff is 5:30pm) to make the sale, which they finally managed to "convince" me confirm an order for an M4400 at around 7:30pm. As a side note, have any of you managed to get one of those reps that try to gobsmack/confuse you and they talk about a part for two minutes non stop without you being able to get a word in? I love those guys (actually, most of the sales consultants are ladies, they tend to be more convincing especially with their accents going haha)!
