    Well, the very first M4400 (#1) I had was so poorly built it had to be sent back. The replacement (#2) I got overheats, when I swore my problems were gone. The replacement (#3) for the replacement is being sold without me even opening it :rolleyes:, enough dealing with Dell.

    so what are you going with this time around? One notebook that has me interested is the new Alienware M17 but then support sucks bad there too im lucky ive owned about 8 notebooks and i never really had to use support and whenever i did it was a terrible experience it seems like employees dont care anymore.

    Lol, no more notebooks for me. I see nothing but issues and rip offs for every notebook that exists compared to the i7 desktop I'm building.

    thats true ive owned my Notebook since august and it only left the house 3 times well to each his own :D

    Sorry I didn't mean to be sarcastic, it is just nice to be able to move the machine from room to room without lugging PC/monitor/cables. I don't take my M6400 out much either, but I do move around the house a lot (and outside to the back patio)
    Anyway your desktop sounds a beast and I am sure you will be happy :)
