I purchased a refurbished M4400 with the wxga+ (1440 x 900) screen. When playing dvd's, the picture is somewhat blurry (not very clear). Otherwise, the screen looks ok for general viewing with other applications and software.

Is this normal for lower resolution screens playing dvd's?
(I have only previously owned notebooks with higher screen resolutions, so am unaware whether this is normal.)

Does Dell perhaps use different lcd screen manufacturers for the M4400 wxga+ (1440 x 900) notebook?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any M4400 wxga+ screen owners not satisfied with the clearity/sharpness of your screen? Since there has not been any response here, I'm wondering if there may perhaps be some issues with my screen that others do not have?
