Best place to buy a new vostro 1500 battery?

    Hi, if this is in the wrong place, I'm sorry.
    Anyways, my beloved little laptop (Vostro 1500 with XP) has a battery problem, and needs a new battery. So, silly me, I went to the dell website, thinking I would be able to buy a new battery through them. Uh uh. They only have battery chargers for sale. So I'm looking online, but I really don't know what to look for, so could you guys please help me?

    A lot of the batteries on eBay are not original equipment. The non-OEM batteries don't always work so well.

    Yup! I think the OP may want to stick with Dell.

    That's what I would do, anyhow..it will come with a warranty, etc.
    And is made for the Vostro.
