    Hello,

I have the e6520 with the stock 1080P AU Optronics lcd panel...

    AU Optronics [Unknown Model: AU021ED]
    B156HW2 [DELL P/N MHPNW]

the panel is plenty bright and clear, but you can see a mesh, screen door pattern (actually just vertical pattern) from the display and it's very distracting...

so I'm considering upgrading the panel... I've heard there are some good LG panels and then sometime told me that the Samsung 156HT01-201 was a clean panel

I also read some of the higher end AU optronics are good ..

    Any suggestions?

    B156HW01 V.4 (Best Matte)

    B156HW01 V.7 (Best Glossy)

But V.7 is better than V.4, so unless you're obsessed with matte, take the V.7.
