Just got in my replacement E6400.
Downloaded all the newest drivers but for some reason, the sound is not right when I listen through the docking station (as I normally do).
    The sound is tinny.
When I plug my headphones into the actual laptop, everything is fine.

    Any ideas?

Click on Start - type Control Panel and select it.
Open the IDT Audio Control Panel icon.
Click the radio button below the 'SRS Premium Sound Logo' to Disabled.
