Asked this question in the other thread but I thought I make a new one here.
I formated and reinstalled my e6500.
Now I saw before the reinstallation that I had a dell program that connected to their website (database) and checked if all my drivers where up to date.

Now after reinstallation I dont find this neat application any of you who know whats it called?

    Thanks.

OOppsss.. I never knew dell had a program for checking if drivers were up to day!!! I think I heard there was something similar *long before* but then it was replaced with an email notification or something.. but recently, I have never heard of anything like that.

In any case, why would you need it? Checking for newer drivers is pretty easy going to driver n downloads section of your model in Dell website... so I wouldn't really worry about it.

Btw, do u mean the Dell support center, by any chance?

Well the one I had before reinstallation checked the computer automatically. It connected against DELL and checked something.

Now after my reinstalation I dont have this feature anymore :(

Is the dell support center an aplication or do you mean their website?

dell support center is an application and there are options that *takes* you to the respective dell support pages when clicked... and it gives you a system information report too..

Or may be u r referring to the dell diagnostics utility?? this u can get from your model' drivers n downloads section...

For my system I see it under "applications" in the M1530 drivers n downloads page... you might want to check in your model' driver n downloads page for similar. Cheers.

Edit: ^^ Yes, as Tinderbox said, for drivers specifically, drivermax works great...
