Anything wrong with using the default MS video driver?

    I have a Vostro V13 and it's used primarily for web and Skype. I don't have a need for the Intel GPU driver and with the default MS driver it passes WEI just fine. Just seeing if you guys recommend going with the stock driver from MS? :hi2:

    You'll be better off with the customized driver from Dell, assuming it's not too old. OEM drivers will link things like the brightness control between the hardware and software, and could give you better performance.

    Hi,

    As Robin24k mentioned, the Dell OEM version drivers are optimized according to the system specification for the enhanced performance. It is recommended to install the Dell drivers itself.
