I just purchased a refurbished M4400 from the Dell Outlet that did not come with a Dell Wireless® 370 Bluetooth.

Is this something that is easy to install?

Is this Bluetooth the same part item that Dell uses for all of its notebooks?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards.

My E6400 has that BlueTooth card, and it was the only option on the configuration website (apart from no BT at all).

When a tech opened up my laptop he showed me the insides and many things, including BT, are very easy to upgrade. See the official Dell manual for the M4400 and click on "WPAN/UWB card" (I provided the link for the whole manual for your future reference, it would look great on your browser's bookmarks ;)).

Thanks HerrKaput for your answer and also for the web reference to the Dell manual! The task of installing a bluetooth doesn't look that difficult based on the manuals instructions. Hopefully my warranty won't be voided if I try installing this item.

    Thanks again!
