Anyone have an opinion on which is better looking, the Latitude e6xx or latitude e5xx?

I know it's ...superficial, but i still would prefer the one less ugly, and i'm not familiar with the design in person since they're so different than the d630. Anyone seen both and have an opinion?

We all have seen them. There are many who HATE the E6x30+ designs.

Are you asking about the x30 designs in general or between the 6x30s and 5x30s? Generally I tend to agree that the overall ID of the x20 and x30 flopped compared to the x00 and x10 ID, but the 6x30s are still better looking (and built) than the 5x30s. That being said, looks are completely subjective and our opinion shouldn't necessarily affect yours.

Yeah, the 5 vs. the 6. I know it's subjective but without seeing them other than on a screen it's really difficult to tell what they look like in reality.

Do you find the 5 worse built than the d630? or the same. I like the quality of the build of the 630.

The E5000 series is entry level, and it's built using less durable materials (in other words, more plastic).

Even though the E6X30 series doesn't look all that great, the E5X30 series looks like a cheaper version of the E6X30...I still prefer the E6X10 series. ;)

Ugh. I cancelled the most kick-a$$ order for an e6xx. It's driving me nuts. Since i've already seen the e6 (saw 2 in a coffee shop AFTER i cancelled, ugh), and 2 Dell sales persons told me they think females might like the e5 better, i guess i'll go ahead and get an e5 and just get rid of it as soon as possible. :(. And maybe if it's horrendous Dell will let me exchange for an e6.

Man i'm gonna miss my beautiful D630.
