I've been having the problem with the wireless as well, it keeps dropping every few minutes and cannot connect until I turn the wireless off and back on again. I am using Vista 64 bit. It happens even when the router is right next to the computer. The signal is strong then no signal afterwards. Sometimes even when it says its connected and there is internet, internet does not work. Anyone with 64 bit Vista having the same problem? Or any idea how to solve it? Dell has told me to reinstall the driver, which I've done without any help with the problem.

The 5300 does not work well with WEP encryption. If you're using that, try changing to WPA2 or WPA.

I've changed it to a DELL WIRELESS 1397 card and it's been working well for last few months.
