Kind of weird, but sometimes when I turn on my 1500, only the left speaker works, and the only way I can get the right one to work is to play some music and turn the volume up kind of loud. Then, the right speaker kicks in and both speakers start operating normally and I can listen to both speakers at any volume. I guess there's a weak solder somewhere or something?
The headphones work fine, it's just the speaker that has the problem. Anyone else ever have this weird problem?

Sounds like the right speaker voice coil is sticking - turning it up puts it under more stress until it becomes un stuck and then works as normal. I don't think it would be a solder joint or dodgy connection if volume consistently makes it work. If you're still under warranty give tech support a bell and they can arrange for a fix.
