I'm curious to know if any other Latitude E-series owners have experienced one or more keyboard failures? My E6400 will be three years old two weeks from tomorrow and I am currently on my 3rd keyboard. Last week, all of the number keys except for 5 and 6 stopped working. I'm planning to get one more replacement keyboard from Dell before the warranty expires...

    Anyone else have similar issues?

Got a couple of duff keys on mine - but its more down to muck and gunk that has got caught under the keys. I've not had any problems of an electrical nuture.

    Good luck.

Though I never used mine for the time period you have, I can say my E6400/E6410 did not have keyboard issues. My mom's E6400 which was used for 2+ years never had keyboard issues (that I know of) but hers had 5 year On Site/Gold Support/Pro Support so even if it did have an issue, Dell would go to her office or our home and fix it.

Same deal... we have six E6400, average age about two years. No keyboard issues except cosmetic ones with the backlit models. Possibly it's just an environmental/usage thing? Or you could just be *very* unlucky...
