I know they're fairly new but it's quite tough to find people who own them. This computer seems like it has some amazing potential and just looks like an extremely solid computer - even better than the M1530 (well, the fact that the E6500 costs more too might explain it).

Backlit keyboard, good processor, good graphics card (better than the 8600GT I'm assuming?) and all those OS choices make this computer desirable.

The fact that you can upgrade to 8GB of RAM makes this computer seem like a true investment so you won't have to buy a faster computer 5 years later, you can just purchase the RAM (which will probably cheapen up).

I don't believe the graphics card in the E6500 is even at least as powerful as the 8600 GT as far as gaming is concerned anyway...

Personally, I'd rather get a Precision M4400 than a Latitude E6500. More powerful and, basing on the Dell website when you configure both, M4400 is actually cheaper than the E6500.

What do you mean? The M4400 starts at $1469 while the E6500 at $1169. The M4400 does look kind of powerfully sexy though...

E6500 starts at P8400 processor while M4400 starts at T9400. Try configuring both in the same specs, like same processor, 4GB RAM, DVD Writer, LED screen, harddrive, etc. M4400 will end up cheaper than the E6500.

Is there any chance of Dell launching coupons for these new computers? Then again, they're under the business category. I suppose not...
