    Hi guys,

are there any news or rumors about a possible update for M6300, perhaps with a num-block :p

hp hasn't officially announced the 8730w, but it won't take that long till they present this new piece of professional notebook.

    Ok, thanx for that info.

I'm gonna wait till oktober or november. Then either hp8730w or dell m6400 will become my new workstation. ;-)

the 4400 looks like a great deal. 15.4inch, LED WXGA+ screen, and 512MB GDDR3 based card with 48 shaders and a 256bit bus.

You guys may have already seen this but I just stumbled across this teaser from Dell today. It's in regards to a new Precision model coming out this fall. Looks like a definite M6300 killer. Here's some info:

YOU WANT freedom from your desktop workstation.

We heard you. Welcome to our slick new concept for the ultimate Dell Precision mobile workstation, destined to be one of the first of its kind and the envy of all those who thought they had a powerful and cool notebook.

Fully configurable, streamlined and gorgeous. Just think of the options:

    * Dual-core? No, YOU WANT quad-core processing power.
    * 8GB memory limitation? Forget that, YOU WANT more.
    * Storage. A few hundred Gig? YOU WANT a Terabyte and RAID.
    * 17" screen? Yes, but YOU WANT 100% Adobe color gamut RGBLED.
    * 512MB of dedicated graphics memory? No, YOU WANT more.

    Stop WANTING. It's coming soon.

As did the M2300 and M4300, the M6400 on the other hand looks to be quite a bit different much like the M6300, wich was based off a an XPS design.
