I have just received by E6500 and I am quite happy with it. Only one thing really bothers me: The Touchpad is the worst I have ever experienced. It reacts slow and is very unprecise.

Disabling the TouchCheck and cranking up the Sensitivity funtionality helps a bit but still, compared to an old Toshiba or a Lenovo really really bad

I have been looking for updated generic drivers from ALPS who is the manufacturer but could not find any.

I would like to hear if you experience the same and if any of you has found a way to improve this.

    Thanx fon

my E6500 came with the latest Driver Version installed already but still it is really bad and I read that others dont like it either. I am curious if it is a general issue or if it is just mine and I might call Dell support to take care of it.

    Dear all

I am now running the latest available driver 7.2.101.213 but the Touchpad is still far from being accurate to a degree that I would find satisfying.

Has anyone else found a Tweak or something??

    Thanx alot.
