I bought a refurb E6400 (P8400, X4500MHD) on ebay. It has Intel 5100 wireless, but doesn't have any bluetooth options. I want to buy and add a BT card inside. I don't want any nubs protruding from my laptop and holding up a USB port.

Can someone tell me if this is possible? Where do I buy a BT card? Can someone suggest any models? Will there be empty space and inside the laptop for adding the card?

    Thanks for the replies people.

    1. Not that I am specifically looking for them, but are there any non-Dell bluetooth modules that would work in the E6400? Maybe something by Intel?

    2. What is the difference between the Dell 370 and the Dell 410 modules?

That product is categorized under "Desktop Wireless/WiFi Adapters"... do you think it will work in the laptop?

If you click on the compatibility tab, it says it's made for E5400, E5500, etc. This isn't a desktop part AFAIK, just a mislabeling on Dell's part. I don't think Intel makes bluetooth modules and I don't think there will be a significant performance difference between the 370 and the 410... don't know the answer for sure on both of those, though.
