About the Vostro 1310's resolution

    I'd like to know if it is true that 1440x900 is an option for the Vostro 1310. You see, I have received conflicting information from Dell sales representatives, and I also receive conflicting information from different review sites. Some say the maximum resolution is 1280x800, and some say that with the Ultrasharp option you can have 1440x900.

    Does anyone have a recently made Vostro 1310 with 1440x900 resolution? If not, could you point out another laptop that might satisfy my requirements :

    - Size : 13 or 14"
    - Price : 600-1000 $
    - Resolution : 1440x900
    - Dedicated video card (such as the 8400GS)
    - Weight : between 4 and 5 pounds
    - I don't care for battery life
    - Available in Canada

    The best way to find out is to call them. Even the online shop may not show all available options in your region.
