I think this has been discussed before in this forum. In the US website anyway, the two can be configured exactly the same except for e2e rgb led and webcam. The regular M6400 in the US website does not have an option or e2e rgb or the inclusion of the webcam. Other than that, the color is the only other difference. I don't know if that justifies the few hundred dollars difference in price.

When they first came out there were more options for the Covet but since then they all became available for the standard version too. Even in countries where those options don't show in the online configurator, if you give Dell a call they'll be able to give you the missing options...except for the twon mentioned above indeed.

I was just looking at this on the US site. You can configure a M6400 with a web cam and the E2E RGB LED if you select the 32 bit OS but not the 64bit OS. Anyone know if there is any other hardware changes if you select the 32 vs. 64 (other than you can only add up to 4 GB of RAM on the 32 bit system)?
