    Hey Guys

I've installed a 770M into my m6700 which a M6000 pro came out of the unit.

Now running windows 8 and unit working ok but GPUZ shows as a basic display adaptor. I enabled optimus in the bios also it displays unknown card.

What INF do I use for getting this card to work?

    Cheers

if you don't want to mod it yourself, grab one from laptopvideo2go. It should work with any card.

Bios always says unknown card for "unknown card" so you don't need to worry about that.

    Hey Baii :)

Got it to install drivers had to disable driver signture on windows 8 to install it shows as a 770M now :)

Temps are 49 Idle is that ok, I applied MX4 paste and using the Cooler that came with the M6000 pro. fan speed says 100% which is weird it's not running at full 100% I don't think.

Oh another question for you Baii or someone else with a Slice battery. I bought a new one off ebay and charged it up. I ran a game like dead island and it was going slow in bits and gliching a little would that be dirty contacts on the slice maybe?

I took slice off and it did not do it.

This is the unit I bought 770M http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251580534481?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Edit: Update I installed latest Bios A13 and still does the slow down thing. really weird issue

lastly the M6700 is a beautiful machine best looking machine I've owned really love it :)

I would speculate that when running off the slice you get your saving profile active and so the GPU and CPU are trottled/downclocked. Or maybe I didn't get what you are saying - do you get those issues just by adding the slice and remaining plugged to AC?

Hi yep that's what it's doing even does it without the slice attached. I tested Watch Dogs games AC plugged in 60FPS and unplug it and it hits 20 FPS any advice to fix the issue?

My fan Speed is showing 100% and temp is 42 idle I even tried different drivers. the fan does not get loud until I begin a game for 5 or 10 minutes in and get's to 58C.

Oh and yeah I been in the NV control panel and changed from adaptive to Max performance and it still goes slow any ideas?
