i'm looking to buy a 7280 via the outlet. however it's very difficult to find out which one has the thunderbolt 3 option. i asked in dell chat to help me source one in the outlet, but apparently none have it listed in their spec sheet. seems a little strange to have none in the outlet stock with thunderbolt 3 option when considering customizing one in the retail page for an i7 model pretty much defaults to a model with thunderbolt 3. on the retail page, the palmrest option with smart card reader, nfc, and finger print reader has thunderbolt 3. it is also the only option of that kind. would it be safe to assume that a 7280 listed in the outlet with the smart card reader, nfc, and finger print reader option would also have thunderbolt 3?

    I'd say it's a safe bet, but I can't personally guarantee that 100%.

What's the return policy on the outlet? Worst case scenario buy it and return it if it doesn't have TB3.

knowing dell, they should be pretty flexible. but that won't matter to me because i'd be buying from outside the us haha. worst case scenario would be to sell it locally at a discount.

damn it they don't make it easy that's for sure.
